I didn't want to over write this, so I took out a ton of stuff about Rodney finally realizing how much he was loved and how he'd never really been loved like this before. It seemed too saccharine. But, actually, that's how I felt about this story. It was Rodney's little wake-up call. You are loved because you are who you are. Not because you can fix the desalination tanks. I actually do think that Jennifer loves Rodney (at least we are left with that impression), but it's a little vague as to why. Perhaps it's better that the show ended when it did because I don't know how you could make a convincing character arc for their relationship. It seems, well, thin. As opposed to John and Atlantis!
