I love that when something big goes down, they inevitable look to each other. They trust in each others abilities, and to be honest, I don't think there's a damn thing they WOULDN'T do for each other

Absolutely THIS. I have no idea if the writers realized they were giving us this or not but I'm so glad they did.

I don't know if it was the writers or Joe and David (who knew their characters well enough to know where they'd look). I'll never forget this one scene where John and Rodney look over Teyla's head just so they can share a look, lol.

I'd almost edited my earlier comment to cross out the word writers and type in Flanigan and Hewlett. *g*

I don't see any two other actors ever pulling out the chemistry between John and Rodney the way Joe and David did.

I can't imagine anyone else blowing John and Rodney. They're just so them, in my head. I do think they were the heart of the show, so it's lucky they had such chemistry.
