Interesting but I'm a cranky McShep. Sheppard is beautiful and charming but also accomplished at deadly. McKay is an arrogant dismissive genius who just got his first real, deadly failure. I would not read any story where McKay dismisses Sheppard like that. They are so much right and wrong, push and pull,
Good idea, but I probably would not read that story. I wanted to read the story where Elizabeth romances (in a professional way) Rodney back from his total commitment to research and projects, to resuming all the crap that comes from being head of multiple science departments, and going off world all the time.. How to convince an unbound genius to take back the bounds? McKay and Sheppard? I'm a Mcshep so for them, there is no good guy, there is no bad guy, there is them and they fight it out.
I think my point was that watching the episodes, how the hell did McKay handle it all? Head of a department that was over half the population of Atlantis, going off world ( don't get me started). What if his punishment ,for the first time , unbound his abilities?
