Hey, sometimes the story demands to be told in a certain way. :-)
I think it is good to have deadlines sometime. Sometimes when you aren't fettered by the idea of making something perfect, you allow something organic to evolve. I'm SO glad you posted this instead of letting it languish as a WIP. We never would have gotten to share in this with you otherwise!
