Rodney's inner voice was note-perfect, and his engagement and breakup in a matter of hours too awesome for words because yes, Rodney would care about the intelligence of any offspring and Jennifer would be mortally offended by the idea that this would matter to him.
But then we get Atlantis suddenly being kind--and Rodney only barely registering how kind everyone else was being as well. And John, being John, being himself and giving Rodney blackmail material and engineering the Be Nice to Rodney campaign--oooh! PERFECT.
