They are like a frigging drug. I love these two. They are so flawed (which is partly why I love them so much). No, I adore them.

One of the things I admired about this story is how much you told within the framework--how densely compact it was and yet it told the story it needed to tell just the same. I was never conscious of 'telling vs showing'. As a matter of fact, in some ways I can't picture the bit between Rodney's engagement to the breakup going any other way--because it happens like that to him--in the blink of an eye. Structurally, this worked very well!
