I rewatched the Mark Ruffalo/Reece Witherspoon film, Just Like Heaven, the other day and I gotta say, it's screaming for a McShep cover.

Rodney is the work obsessed physicist who has a super great apartment who crashes his car on the way home one night. John is the ex-military vet getting back on his feet who sublets his apartment which Rodney appears to be haunting, Of course, they eventually realise that Rodney's not dead, but in a coma and then have to race to find a way to stop Jeannie from turning off life support.
