Very nice how the story changed between 'now' and 'then' and how every part added a bit to the big love story. I'm very happy that John survived long enought to retire with Rodney - and I think it's very realistic that Rodney is the one to get an heart attack. It was very lovely to see all those other characters like Cadman and Madison and Torren again! This is a great happy ending for John and Rodney!

Oh, thank you! I always want happy endings for...um, pretty much everyone? So I used this as an opportunity to write an AU where that was at least mildly feasible.

This is lovely. It's just what I'd wish for our boys, many years in the future, & it's so shmoopy to see almost all the characters & 'kids' present & related in various ways. <3
I adore the notion that Rodney squirreled away John's dress blues in a 'jumper because, as much as he lusted after John in them, he wanted John to look sharp & dignified even more. <3 <3 <3

What a fun story! Sweet, yet filling and nourishing too. I loved the parade of beloved characters--Cadman, still bickering with Rodney, years later. Ford, oh Ford! Loved his pratfall into Atlantis! Torren & Madison married! I also enjoyed the asynchronous storytelling. Ronon and Radek in a threesome is my fave, too. I liked all the details, like Rodney knowing he was having a heart attack, John having his favorites among the jumpers (we all know he does), and John and Teyla older but both still looking fabulous. Great fic!
