This was not the Romancing McShep fic I started out writing. I chose a lovely piece of artwork, got a great idea, wrote a kick-ass first scene. And never really progressed beyond that. There was stress, anxiety, and pathetic whining to my friends. In the end, I had to bow out of the art fic (I vow to finish it at some point!) and instead I finished this WIP which had been hanging out for a while and was deserving of being completed.
